Q and A
A) What is the difference between a blog and a book? The difference between a blog and a book is that in a blog, links to various different topics can be added to it. A blog not only gives the reader the opportunity of learning something through the reading, but enables him or her to broaden his or her knowledge through the links it has. In a blog, the readers can comment, discuss and clarify points that might have not been so clear at first. Blogs are interactive and books arent. Blogs have links to more information if you want to take a look at it. Books don´t offer such posibilites. B)How have blogs changed recently? Before, blogs´objective was to inform and to help readers or web surfers to find more information about a specific topic. However, with time blogs have become about "self-revelation" rather than showing interesting websites about a topic, or giving information or opinion about something. Some of the people that create blogs do it because they want to get noticed by web-surfers. C) Why might you read a blog? You might read a blog if you are interested in learnig about different opinions about a speciffic topic. On the other hand, you might want to look at a blog in search for more information in other websites about the topic the blog is about. D) Is there a reason to doubt the objectivity of a blog? Why? Why not? Yes, you should always be skeptic from the information you get from logs because you don´t know from where it came and exaclty who wrote and what was his motive. If he has or not omitted information on his article or if he/she is an expert on the topic he/she is discussing about. E) If you kept your own blog, what would you title it? Insights from life
